  • THE SITUATION

    M Booth won Aperol. I helped win the pitch, met directly with the client, established fit. Coachella was the first major content moment: a social-first piece starring Camila Mendes, shot at the Aperol-branded house near the festival.

  • THE THINKING

    The shoot had a hard ceiling: one day with Camila. Filming on festival grounds was restricted to VIP-only shooting zones inside Aperol's designated event space. The piece needed to go out fast enough to reach Coachella attendees while the weekend was still live.

  • THE OUTCOME

    I wrote the original script. Camila approved it. The client requested changes. It was rewritten before the team arrived. On set, Camila read the revision and rejected it. She wanted the original.

    We shot my script.
